Authentic and original design
By starting the Vitra Circle shop (2017), Vitra wants to sharpen conscious consumption and emphasize the importance of the original design. In 2021, Vitra has opened the Vitra Circle store in Hembrugterrein, a meeting point connecting fans, customers and designers. The store invites visitors to browse, discover and buy authentic and original designs, get interior advise or simply learn more from Vitra experts.
Since the start of the Swiss furniture brand Vitra in 1950, authentic and original design has been at the forefront. The classics by designers such as Ray & Charles Eames, Jean Prouvé and Alexander Girard have become an integral part of the history of contemporary design. Designers such as Hella Jongerius, Konstantin Grcic and the French brothers Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec have completed the impressive collection of furniture for home and office use in recent years. Over the course of a year, the Vitra stock grows with hundreds of products, including many showroom items, products with minor transport damage, incorrect orders or deliveries. In the past, Vitra sold these products during its annual sales. They were presented in the condition they were in. Sometimes dirty or slightly damaged. However, Vitra is convinced that its products deserve more respect and care.
Two year guarantee
The Vitra objects deserve to be treated with respect. In the Vitra Circle Store, the objects are restored, restored and cleaned before they are sold. In short, the objects on offer are worthy of the Vitra authenticity label. The refurbished objects also receive a two-year warranty and are offered at attractive prices.
